Currently there is a movie called Captain Phillips which is supposed to be a recreation of real events in the Somalia Pirates taking of an American ship and the Navy Seals killing the pirates. Problem: The real Crew Members of the ship say the film is all lies. http://nypost.com/2013/10/13/crew-members-deny-captain-phillips-heroism/ Conclusion: The Hollywood Media is always trying to brainwash the public and push an agenda and can't be trusted for any truth. Yet, many American voters look there for their political guidance.

No wonder America is going down the drain.Agent 54https://www.blogger.com/profile/08168794460959854775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1399867986055030064.post-76655604121487117822013-08-04T15:30:27.301-04:002013-08-04T15:30:27.301-04:00I did manage to find a copy of an earlier draft of...I did manage to find a copy of an earlier draft of the script (the one with 'werewolves' - actually not, but the 'wendigo' concept was stronger), and that draft was pretty much a straight-ahead telling of the tale, which would've worked much better than this muddled take... (I mean, really, 'I've seen these corridors before'? Uh, yeah.)

It really is not worth watching once. Let alone twice. It's incredibly simple, and the regurgitation of scenes creates a film of 1 and a half hours with barely a half hour worth of actual footage that isn't repeated.

The characters had no depth - and, Jess, apparently, no common sense either (judging from the amount of various dead people/animals).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1399867986055030064.post-12120436991527890572012-02-28T20:27:57.084-05:002012-02-28T20:27:57.084-05:00Gosh great T.V. movie ! I'm not too sure why everyone seems to think the movie is thought provoking, it layed out quite plainly for people to understand. It was somewhat interesting, until Jess continued to do everything exactly the same and try to kill everyone. I understand what smith was trying to do but it missed the mark for me. Ultimately what ruined the movie was when Jess returned to the dock to start the loop over again, just as at the start of the movie. Somehow the first Jess we see at the start of the film on the docks has no knowledge of anything that happened the first time once she get on the boat. That inconsistency was very frustrating and ruined the film, in my point of view anyhow.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1399867986055030064.post-76148524275037125802012-01-21T10:23:44.621-05:002012-01-21T10:23:44.621-05:00Warner Brothers just released it as part of their ...Warner Brothers just released it as part of their Warner Archives Collection.
